Content Coordinator and Fundraiser

Robert graduated from high school this year and is now on the starting blocks of his career.

When he went to school in India from second to seventh grade, he was confronted for the first time with the inequality of opportunity that prevails on our planet.

When he heard about Friends of Botriver for the first time during a trip to South Africa, he was immediately enthusiastic. He even had the opportunity to meet our mentees and see what a positive impact FoB can have on the local population.

Therefore, with ambition and the means at his disposal, he decided to support FoB as a volunteer in his spare time.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your role within Friends of Botriver.

My name is Robert, I am 20 years old and just started my Double Degree in International Management at ESB Business School. The first part of my studies is being completed at DCU in Ireland.

What is your impact as a volunteer on the Botriver community?

Through our social media channels, I create attention and spread awareness for our projects and the mission of FoB. Apart from that, I support Florian with fundraising and creating incentives for new projects.

What do you enjoy the most about volunteering at FoB?

I enjoy working together with Florian and the rest of the team brainstorming new ideas and mapping out plans. Apart from that knowing the positive impact our work yields is the most rewarding thing about working at FoB.
